5th Space Dinner – 10.03.2017 – Planetarium Brussels

The time has once again come for our annual flagship event: the Space Dinner! For the 5th time we invite you for a bite, a drink and inspiring presentations by three influential speakers from the Belgian space scene. The perfect opportunity to network with space professionals and like-minded peers! Not sure what to expect? Have a look at these pictures from last year’s highly successful edition.

The theme of the 5th Space Dinner is the “The Future of the ISS”. In short, what will happen to the International Space Station after 2024 (or 2028)? The ISS could become a commercially operated space station, but how will this affect research and operations?

The following speakers will each provide their own point of view on this subject:

  • Alejandro Sela, Space Applications Services
  • Lola Meotti, Independent artist
  • Dr. Valentina Shevtsova, Microgravity Research Center (ULB)

Also included in the Space Dinner is a planetarium show and of course a free reception to top it all off.

Programme:

  • 18:30: Doors open
  • 19:00: Presentations
  • Alejandro Sela, Space Application Services
  • Lola Meotti, Independent artist
  • Dr. Valentina Shevtsova, Microgravity Research Center (ULB)
  • 20:00: First beSpace Awards
  • 20:15: Planetarium Show
  • 21:00: Walking dinner & networking event
  • 22:00: End

As always, we look forward to welcoming both new and familiar faces at the Space Dinner!
